About this book
The China study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-term Health is a book by T. Colin Campbell and his son, Thomas M. Campbell II. It was first published in the United States in January 2005 and had sold over one million copies as of October 2013, making it one of America's best-selling books about nutrition.
Nutrition is fuel for the body. It not only allows us to live, based on the quantity of available foods. The quality of our nutrition logically has tremendous influence on our physical and mental wellbeing. Dr. Campbell builds a compelling case on what 'natural foods' actually are for human beings and the sordid part the industry lobbies play in this process. Spoiler alert: we have a disease-care-system, not a health-care-system.
For all you hardline puppies, there's a follow-up book called 'Whole, rethinking the science of nutrition (2013)'
